Iowa Prairie Adventure

2.3 million acres – GUESS AGAIN!
It's actually 29.3 million acres. That's a lot of prairie grass! Today we have much less prairie land - 6,000 acres to be exact. The early settlers were able to put the prairie land to good use to produce crops and feed the animals. Today, more than 90 percent of Iowa land is in some type of agriculture production.
